Egg bowl

INGREDIENTS

- Eggs

- Cooked ham

- Bread

Use as many eggs as people you are cooking for. Or as many as you want to eat, I’m not judging! Cooked ham is always handy, another alternative could be smoked salmon or roasted red pepper, for a vegetarian alternative. For the bread, I used wholemeal toast, which is always in my pantry. It is also nice with freshly baked bread, any kind really!

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Soft boil the egg.

2. Cut the slice of bread and the ham in small pieces.

3. Peel and crumble the egg.

4. Mix all together and enjoy!

To soft boil the egg, place it in a small pan and cover with water. Bring to boil and, once it starts bubbling, count one minute. That should be done! You can boil for a bit longer if you like the egg more cooked.

While the egg is cooking, toast the bread (if needed, or if you like it toasted). Cut the bread and the cooked ham in small pieces and place in a bowl. Once the egg is cooked - I recommend putting it through a bit of cold water from the tap to cool it of before handling -, peel and crumble in the bowl. Mix it all together and enjoy!

TIPS

You can add other things to the bowl if you want, like chorizo or spring onions. Imagination is the limit.

Serve with a salad to add some veggies.

You can also cook the egg in the microwave.
